Herkese merhaba. In this episode, we will continue with the tale we started last week.

Melih kitaba dokunmak için yaklaştı. Kitap bir anda parlamaya başladı. Melih korktu, geri çekildi. Hemen oradan kaçmayı düşündü. Ama bir yandan da ne olacağını merak ediyordu. Kitaba biraz daha yaklaştı. Sayfalar bomboştu. Kitabın dışı çok eski olsa da içi yeni gibiydi. Cesaretini topladı ve bir sayfaya dokundu. Bir anda sayfada kendi ismi belirdi. Melih gözlerine inanamadı. Kitap Melih’in adını, yaşını, boyunu, saç rengini bile biliyordu. Bütün sayfalar yazılarla dolmaya başladı. Melih bu yazıları okumak için, köşedeki eski bir sandalyeyi aldı ve kitabın karşısına oturdu.

Bomboş: boş means empty but bomboş is like all empty.

Mesela sokaklar bomboş!: The streets are all empty.

Olsa da: even if / even though / you can also use “olsa bile”:

Mesela oda eski olsa da eşyalar yeni: Even if the room is old, the furniture is new.

Melih approached to touch the book. The book suddenly started to shine. Melih got scared, stepped back. He immediately thought about running away from there. But, on the other hand, he was curious about what would happen. He approached the book a bit more. The pages were blank. Although the outside of the book was very old, the inside seemed new. He gathered his courage and touched a page. Suddenly, his name appeared on the page. Melih couldn't believe his eyes. The book knew Melih's name, age, height, even his hair color. All the pages began to fill with writings. To read these writings, Melih took an old chair from the corner and sat in front of the book.
