Sabah erkenden uyandım. Pencereyi açtım ve derin bir nefes aldım. Güzel bir gün olacağını hemen anladım çünkü gökyüzü masmaviydi. Çiçeklerimi suladım ve sonra kedimi besledim. Sabah egzersizi yaptıktan sonra klasik bir Türk kahvaltısı yaptım. Klasik bir Türk kahvaltısında neler var biliyor musunuz? Genelde Türk kahvaltısında peynir olmazsa olmaz bir yiyecektir. Zeytin de öyle. Zaten kahvaltı dediğimizde “peynir ve zeytin” ayrılmaz ikilidir. Klasik bir Türk kahvaltısında domates ve salatalık da görmek mümkün. Bazı insanlar bunlara ek olarak bal, kaymak, kızarmış yumurta ya da menemen de ekliyorlar. Elbette çaysız bir Türk kahvaltısı düşünülemez. Bazıları için ekmeksiz bir Türk kahvaltısı da aslında gerçek bir Türk kahvaltısı değildir. Neyse, ne diyordum? Aa evet. Kahvaltı yaptım ve sonra çalışmaya başladım. Yaklaşık bir buçuk saat sonra ara verdim ve bol köpüklü sade bir Türk kahvesi yaptım. Türk kahvesi içerken, kitap okudum ve biraz hayal kurdum. Sonra yine çalışmaya devam ettim. Öğlen dışarı çıktım ve yürüyüş yaptım. Eve döndüm, yemek yaptım. Yemek yedikten sonra bir film izledim. Film biraz sıkıcıydı ama yine de bitirdim. Biraz kedimle oynadıktan sonra uyudum. What did I do in a day?
I woke up early in the morning. I opened the window and took a deep breath. I immediately knew it would be a beautiful day because the sky was deep blue. I watered my flowers and then fed my cat. After morning exercise, I had a classic Turkish breakfast. Do you know what's in a classic Turkish breakfast? Generally, in a Turkish breakfast, cheese is an indispensable food. Olives are the same. In fact, when we say "breakfast" in Turkey, "cheese and olives" are an inseparable duo. In a classic Turkish breakfast, you can also see tomatoes and cucumbers. Some people add honey, clotted cream, fried eggs, or scrambled eggs in addition to these. Of course, a Turkish breakfast without tea is unthinkable. For some, a Turkish breakfast without bread is not actually a real Turkish breakfast. Anyway, what was I saying? Oh yes. I had breakfast and then started working. About an hour and a half later, I took a break and made a frothy plain Turkish coffee. While drinking Turkish coffee, I read a book and daydreamed a bit. Then I continued working. I went outside and took a walk around noon. I came back home, cooked, and after having dinner, I watched a movie. The film was a bit boring, but I still finished it.
